Avigate to snooze near me11/17/2023 ![]() At 9:30on a Tuesday morning, all of the interior tables were filled and there was a 15 minute wait. Do we tried at a time that I thought that there wouldn't be any wait. I understand that one can get onto the waiting list online before you leave the house and this will shorten the long wait. We had tried to go on a weekend but we're put off by the huge waiting list. Maybe next time I’ll try the pancakes or sammies. Service was great and I would definitely visit Snooze again I just don’t know it’s worth a 1.5/2 hour wait on weekends based on what I had. I opted to add chorizo, which was okay-not spicy and not too greasy. For many of the dishes on the menu, you have to add protein, which costs extra. The pico de gallo seemed fresh and the tortillas on the bottom were not too soggy given all the toppings on top. I opted for the huevos rancheros and they were a solid 4 out of 5. The menu is rather large but separated into clear categories - classics, pancakes, etc. Overall the restaurant is loud given music playing over speakers and the typical table chatter. The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor seating area, as well as a bar that is first come, first serve. Complimentary coffee is available while you wait. checked in and waited another 30 minutes or so before being seated. Given that the wait time was about an hour and a half, I used another app to put my name on the list. While on a business trip, I researched a highly rated brunch spot and found Snooze. ![]() Maybe I should've waited the 2 hours in line by coming in during their busy hours because that seems to be a part of the Snooze experience that hypes up the anticipation and appetite. There are better brunch spots that serve better eggs benedicts at lower price points. Service was great, but the eggs benedict dishes fell short. I think if I were to come back, I would try their sweet breakfast items like the OMG! French Toast or pancakes. They were pretty bland and I needed a lot of Tapatio to even stomach it. I wish it was more crispy but it was just a heavy potato cake. I liked the Smashed Avocado Benny better, but it's just the average eggs benedict. I just picked it up with my hand and ate it as toast. I like to eat my eggs benedict with everything in one bite, but I couldn't cut the ciabatta with my knife. And the ciabatta bread was really tough to eat. There was also balsamic dressing over the Bella! so there was just an overwhelming taste of vinegar. It's served with a side of arugula with balsamic dressing drizzled on top. I wouldn't recommend the Bella! Bella! Benny. Food wasn't as hot as I expected it to be. My friend got the Smashed Avocado Benny and the Ham Benedict III. I chose the Bella! Bella! Benny and the Smashed Avocado Benny. My friend and I specifically got the Benny Duo which lets you choose two eggs benedict options for $14, which is $1 more than the standard ones. It took us a long time to decide what to eat and we ultimately all decided to order Eggs Benedict (except the one with the porridge) since it was one of their popular items on the menu and Yelp was raving about it. When she brought it out, there were berries in it, so he had it returned and got a new one. For breakfast, he ordered an porridge with no berries. He didn't like it and asked for orange juice instead. Since he was sick, she recommended a chamomile tea with honey and lemon (he's not a tea connoisseur) and he ordered it. Exhibit A: my friend was being very picky and indecisive. Our server was really friendly, attentive, and really patient-emphasis on patient. There was no line and we were seated at a nice booth. inevitable long waits (2 hours, no thanks) at Snooze, my friends and I planned to meet at 6:30AM. Many of my friends have been here and hyped it up for me, so when I came here with a group of friends, I was super excited to see what they had to offer.
